उत्तराखंड में लहलहाए धान के खेत, सरकार ने बढ़ाई खरीद की रफ्तार..
उत्तराखंड में धान की बंपर पैदावार को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार ने केंद्र से धान खरीद का लक्ष्य बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया है। खाद्य मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि अब तक 4.99 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान खरीदा जा चुका है और लगभग 2.70 लाख किसानों को समर्थन मूल्य का लाभ मिला है। सरकार ने केंद्र से 2 लाख मीट्रिक टन अतिरिक्त धान खरीदने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित करने का अनुरोध किया है।
उत्तराखंड में इस वर्ष धान की बंपर पैदावार को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार ने केंद्र सरकार को पत्र लिखकर धान खरीद का मौजूदा लक्ष्य 7.50 लाख मीट्रिक टन से बढ़ाने की मांग की है। खाद्य एवं नागरिक आपूर्ति मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि राज्य में अब तक 4.99 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद पूरी हो चुकी है। लगभग 2.70 लाख किसान न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य का लाभ ले चुके हैं।
राज्यभर में 750 खरीद केंद्रों पर किसानों से धान खरीदी जा रही है। बुधवार को धान खरीद का मुद्दा विधानसभा के विशेष सत्र में भी तब उठा, जब विभागीय मंत्री रेखा आर्य सदन में इस संबंध में विभाग की उपलब्धियां रख रहीं थीं। इस पर विपक्ष के विधायकों ने क्रय केंद्रों पर धान की खरीद नहीं होने का विषय उठाया।
विभागीय मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने बताया कि धान का उत्पादन अच्छा हुआ है। खरीद अच्छी रही है। उधम सिंह नगर में इस साल प्रति हेक्टेयर धान की पैदावार स्थापित मानक के मुकाबले काफी ज्यादा रही है। इस बारे में वहां के जिलाधिकारी ने विभाग को पत्र लिखकर सूचित किया है।
इसे देखते हुए विभागीय अधिकारियों को कैबिनेट मंत्री ने निर्देशित किया था कि केंद्र सरकार से संपर्क कर लक्ष्य को बढ़ाने की कोशिश की जाए। बुधवार को खाद्य एवं नागरिक आपूर्ति सचिव एवं फैनई ने केंद्र सरकार में खाद्य एवं सार्वजनिक वितरण विभाग के सचिव को पत्र लिखकर राज्य का धान खरीद लक्ष्य 2 लाख मैट्रिक टन और बढ़ाने की मांग की है।
