आगामी क्रिसमस एवं नववर्ष के पर्वों के दौरान आमजन को सुरक्षित, शुद्ध एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देशानुसार खाद्य संरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग, उत्तराखण्ड द्वारा राज्यव्यापी विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
त्योहारी मौसम में खाद्य पदार्थों की बढ़ती खपत को देखते हुए विभाग ने मिलावटखोरी, घटिया गुणवत्ता तथा अस्वच्छ परिस्थितियों में खाद्य निर्माण एवं विक्रय पर कड़ी निगरानी रखने का निर्णय लिया है। इस अभियान के तहत खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम-2006 के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन को सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है। विभाग का उद्देश्य केवल दंडात्मक कार्रवाई करना नहीं, बल्कि खाद्य कारोबार से जुड़े सभी हितधारकों में खाद्य सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता एवं जवाबदेही विकसित करना है।
अपर आयुक्त श्री ताजबर सिंह जग्गी ने बताया कि त्योहारी सीजन को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्राथमिकता वाले खाद्य पदार्थों को चिन्हित किया गया है। इनमें मिठाइयाँ, नमकीन, बेकरी उत्पाद, कन्फेक्शनरी, डेयरी उत्पाद, साइड डिशेज, डेजर्ट्स और तैयार भोजन शामिल हैं। गुलाब जामुन, जलेबी, खीर, समोसा, बिरयानी, रोस्ट चिकन, पिज्जा, केक, पेस्ट्री, प्लम केक, कुकीज, चॉकलेट एवं क्रिसमस पुडिंग जैसे लोकप्रिय खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने लेकर गुणवत्ता की जांच की जाएगी।
उन्होंने बताया कि जनपद स्तर पर खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारियों के नेतृत्व में विशेष टीमें गठित की गई हैं, जो खाद्य निर्माण इकाइयों से लेकर थोक एवं खुदरा विक्रेताओं तक की सघन जांच करेंगी। खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक नियम-2011 तथा संबंधित विनियमों का उल्लंघन पाए जाने पर नियमानुसार कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
खाद्य आयुक्त डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि त्योहारी मौसम में यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि आमजन को केवल शुद्ध और सुरक्षित खाद्य सामग्री ही उपलब्ध हो। सभी जनपदों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि प्राथमिकता वाले खाद्य पदार्थों की नियमित जांच की जाए और किसी भी स्तर पर लापरवाही बर्दाश्त न की जाए। अभियान के दौरान की गई प्रत्येक कार्रवाई की दैनिक रिपोर्टिंग अनिवार्य की गई है, ताकि पारदर्शिता एवं प्रभावशीलता बनी रहे।
