विजय दिवस पर मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने शहीदों को दी श्रद्धांजलि, 1971 युद्ध के वीरों और परिजनों को किया सम्मानित..
मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज विजय दिवस के अवसर पर गांधी पार्क, देहरादून में आयोजित श्रद्धांजलि सभा एवं सम्मान समारोह में प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित कर देश के वीर बलिदानियों को नमन किया और 1971 के भारत–पाक युद्ध में सहभागी रहे सैनिकों तथा शहीदों के परिजनों को सम्मानित किया।
कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने सैनिक कल्याण निदेशालय एवं जिला सैनिक कल्याण कार्यालयों—डीडीहाट, हरबर्टपुर, पिथौरागढ़ और हरिद्वार—में सरकारी वाहन उपलब्ध कराने की घोषणा की।
विजय दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे वीर जवानों ने अदम्य साहस और सर्वोच्च बलिदान के साथ 1971 के युद्ध में राष्ट्र की अखंडता और स्वाभिमान की रक्षा की। यह दिन भारतीय सेना के शौर्य, त्याग और अटूट राष्ट्रनिष्ठा की गौरवगाथा को स्मरण करने का है, जो इतिहास में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में अंकित है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 1971 के युद्ध में पाकिस्तान के लगभग 93 हजार सैनिकों ने भारतीय सेना के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण किया था। इस युद्ध में वीरभूमि उत्तराखण्ड के 248 वीर सपूतों ने अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया, जबकि प्रदेश के 74 सैनिकों को उनके अदम्य साहस के लिए विभिन्न वीरता पदकों से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड ऐसा राज्य है, जहां लगभग प्रत्येक परिवार का कोई न कोई सदस्य सेना से जुड़ा है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि सेना को अत्याधुनिक तकनीक और हथियारों से सुसज्जित किया जा रहा है। आज भारत रक्षा सामग्री के निर्यातक शीर्ष देशों में शामिल हो गया है। ऑपरेशन सिंधु का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि स्वदेशी हथियारों—आकाश मिसाइल, डिफेंस सिस्टम और ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल—ने विश्व स्तर पर भारत की सैन्य शक्ति का लोहा मनवाया है। आज दुश्मन की हर गोली का जवाब ताकत से दिया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह नया भारत है, जो दुश्मनों की हर नापाक हरकत का करारा जवाब देता है। प्रधानमंत्री के नेतृत्व में वन रैंक वन पेंशन योजना, नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल का निर्माण, रक्षा बजट में वृद्धि और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में मजबूत इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर जैसे कई ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाए गए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार भी सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के कल्याण के लिए पूरी प्रतिबद्धता से कार्य कर रही है। शहीदों के आश्रितों को दी जाने वाली अनुग्रह राशि ₹10 लाख से बढ़ाकर ₹50 लाख कर दी गई है। वीरता पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित सैनिकों को दी जाने वाली एकमुश्त और वार्षिक धनराशि में भी उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि की गई है। परमवीर चक्र विजेताओं के लिए यह राशि ₹1.50 करोड़, अशोक चक्र के लिए ₹50 लाख, महावीर चक्र और कीर्ति चक्र के लिए ₹35 लाख तथा वीर चक्र और शौर्य चक्र के लिए ₹25 लाख कर दी गई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि बलिदानियों के परिवार के एक सदस्य को सरकारी नौकरी देने का निर्णय लिया गया है तथा आवेदन की समय-सीमा 2 वर्ष से बढ़ाकर 5 वर्ष कर दी गई है। इसके साथ ही नौकरी पूर्व प्रशिक्षण, पुत्री विवाह अनुदान, सरकारी बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा और ₹25 लाख तक की संपत्ति खरीद पर स्टाम्प ड्यूटी में 25 प्रतिशत छूट जैसी सुविधाएं भी प्रदान की जा रही हैं। देहरादून के गुनियाल गांव में भव्य सैन्य धाम का निर्माण भी किया जा रहा है।
सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री श्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि केंद्र और राज्य सरकार मिलकर सैनिकों के कल्याण के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही हैं और मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी के नेतृत्व में सैनिकों की समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान किया जा रहा है।
इस अवसर पर विधायक श्री खजान दास, विधायक श्रीमती सविता कपूर, सचिव सैनिक कल्याण श्री दीपेन्द्र चौधरी, मेजर जनरल (से.नि.) सम्मी सबरवाल सहित बड़ी संख्या में पूर्व सैनिक, वीरांगनाएं और गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।
